Likes and comments
One tap to like a post, and a comment thread under every one of them. Both need an account, so the counts mean something.
Photos and video attached
Attach media to any post. Files upload straight to object storage from your browser and stream back from there.
Groups, public or private
Give a group a name, description, icon and banner. What gets posted inside it never appears on the public feed.
A passkey, not an invite list
Private groups open with a passkey the owner shares. Unlock while signed in and the group stays open for your account on every device.
Roles scoped to one group
Posting, commenting, reacting, managing members and editing the group are separate permissions, assigned per role, per group.

No. The public feed and the groups browser are open to everyone, and a public group's posts can be read signed out. Posting, liking, reading comments and joining a group all need an account.
